Lindsay Poynter, MA LMHC
Lindsay acquired her BA in Therapeutic Recreation from Western Washington University in 1999 and her MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University in 2005.  Lindsay is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington.

Lindsay's work experience has varied from instructing and working as a therapist on wilderness courses with populations ranging from Middle School Students, to "at-risk" adolescents, to women survivors of trauma.  She has extensive experience working within and in collaboration with public and private schools.  Along with her private practice, Lindsay teaches courses in Therapeutic Recreation and Challenge Facilitation at Western Washington University.  Lindsay also serves on the Board of Directors for Explorations Academy in Bellingham, WA. 

While not working, Lindsay enjoys spending time outdoors, singing (mostly in the shower) and playing guitar, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
